I really get this. I lose myself in writing, and sometimes I resent/hate having to come back “reality” #amwriting http://ow.ly/Q24E309gLA3
This is amazingly helpful! I’d never really considered gifs at all, or even thought about them much, until I read this article! #amwriting #romancewriter #writing http://ow.ly/gPq7307w4DB
November 27 at approximately 11:53 pm, I finished NaNo! Official word verification was 52,614 (or something like that! LOL!).
My NaNo project this year was “When Darkness Falls,” a paranormal fantasy romance set deep in the middle eastern desert. Here’s the mini-synopsis I came up with for my NaNo page:
This is a paranormal romance set in a medieval middle eastern city deep in the desert. Ruled by a gracious, wise ruler, the humans dwell in uneasy peace with the vampires and demons who claim the lands as their ancestral homelands, ruled over by an ancient, powerful vampire. The shaky truce becomes strained when a young human woman arrives on a caravan from distant lands. Orphaned and alone, she seeks only to make a new life for herself. A life that quickly becomes complicated when she draws the attention of the Dark Lord himself.
